Over the weekend of 13th-15th March, The European Independent Film Festival 2009 screened 113 films from 27 countries at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Site François-Mitterrand. Alongside the screenings, ÉCU 2009 also offered “Meet the Directors” sessions, an exciting array of workshops with internationally renowned industry experts and the newly launched Perfect Pitch programme. Sebastian Mantilla received Best Director award for his independent film Next to Babilonia.
